Versa Pak is proud to announce we were named Supplier of the Year at the Packaging Distributors of America 12th annual meeting, attended by member suppliers and preferred distributors from across the U.S.
This event enables us to join other distributors and suppliers in identifying business opportunities, sharing best practices and celebrating achievements.
An awards dinner was held the last night of the annual meeting. The 2018 annual award winners were:
- Supplier of the Year: Versa Pak
- Member of the Year: BGR
- Champion of the Year: Robin Goheen, Rusco Packaging
- 2018 President’s Award: Chip Reavely, Shorr Packaging
2018 PDA Chain Annual Meeting
During the annual meeting portion of the event, we participated in various supplier-distributor meetings to discuss collaboration, innovation and growth.
The guest speaker at the event was John Cashion of the Ritz Carlton Leadership Center, who spoke about the importance of the customer service experience.
During the PDA general session, Ken Wong of Crownhill Packaging was named chairman of the board. A dinner and raffle drawing also was held with money raised going to Chapman Partnership to benefit the homeless.
The event featured the annual charity golf tournament at Crandon Golf Course in Key Biscayne, Florida. The tournament included more than 40 member suppliers and distributors and also raised money for Chapman Partnership.
