Sales Representative



Summary:

Versa-Pak is a rapidly growing manufacturer of versatile plastic packaging for the food and other consumer industries. It is our belief that our reputation goes with every order. We are currently looking for a Sales Representative who will reflect our company's core values and continuing our success. Sales Representatives are results-driven candidates who develop sales strategies and attract new clients.

  • Travel to seek out prospective customers/business opportunities with new and existing customers by cold calling.
  • Assist Sales Manager with job duties/projects/sales targets.
  • Complete sales calls and expense reports on a timely basis in accordance with company policy.
  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems to maximize satisfaction.
  • Quote material prices to customers.
  • Coordinate customer returns and complete proper documentation on a timely basis.

Experience/Certification Required:

  • Must have an Associates degree or Equivalent Sales Experience.
  • Must present and communicate in a professional manner.
  • Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills.
  • Must be organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience in the plastic industry is a plus.
