He saw a lot of potential here and was eager to be part of a growing team.\u00a0\u201cI\u2019ve learned that working for a small company is really where I want to be,\u201d he shared. \u201cThe plastics industry is a very small world, but working for a family-owned and operated company is world class.\u201dOne of the things Heath appreciates most about Versa Pak is the feeling of family.\u00a0\u201cYou don\u2019t get that at a large company,\u201d he said. \u201cVersa Pak made me feel very comfortable from day one.\u201dOverseeing 5-Layer Engineered FilmsAs a process engineer, Heath is responsible for the design, optimization, and oversight of our five-layer engineered films. While there\u2019s hardly a typical day in the plastics industry, his work usually includes:Designing, developing, and refining efficient processes for our five-layer filmsIdentifying areas to reduce waste, increase productivity, and improve engineered film qualityTroubleshooting any issues that might arise during film manufacturingRelated: Complete Guide to Co-Ex BlendsHeath describes himself as a \u2018happy guy by nature\u2019, and loves to see people grow and learn.
